Orange shoots for the Moon in new Publicis campaign

In a world where being connected is essential, Orange is extending the run of its international campaign devoted to what has always set it apart: the quality, reliability and innovative power of its network.

True to its signature “Orange is here”, the brand celebrates a simple ambition: to let everyone stay connected everywhere, in the moments that matter, today and tomorrow.

When innovation inspires the imagination

This international campaign, created by Publicis Conseil, is set against a spectacular backdrop: the surface of the Moon. We follow Eva, an astronaut who, in the midst of her mission, gives herself over for a few moments to music and dance, in a pure moment of joy and letting go.

She loses herself in an unexpected choreography set to energetic, upbeat music; in this extraordinary environment, her movements seem to defy the laws of gravity.

Through this deliberately offbeat story, brought to the screen by directors Julien and Quentin of Hamlet, Orange chooses exaggeration as a creative device to illustrate a simple conviction: its network has never stopped pushing back its boundaries.

A way of picturing the ambition for innovation that drives the brand, and the new possibilities opened up by satellite technology.

Pushing back boundaries

Through this story, at once spectacular and deeply human, Orange brings to life a powerful idea: a network that keeps pushing the limits of technology ever further to deliver ever more connectivity, while always remaining in service of what matters most: human connections.

A statement designed to strengthen the brand’s emotional dimension while showcasing what underpins its technological leadership: a network built to support real life, closely attuned to consumers’ everyday uses and expectations.

Julien Martorell, one half of directing duo, Julien & Quentin, said: “Making someone dance on the Moon was enough to draw us to this project. Only a film can show a dancer that: moving in low gravity, leaving the rules of dance behind and having fun with it.

“We loved the whole research phase, recreating the Moon in a studio and finding the best way to reproduce its weak gravity, then bringing our love of dance into it. A lot of work, and as much joy.”

Across Europe, Orange relies on networks recognised for their quality and reliability, serving everyday uses. In France, Orange claims it has been the leader in mobile service quality for the 15th year running, and also stands out for the quality of its fibre rollout.

This telco said the same rigour is found across several of its markets: best 5G network in Belgium according to Ookla, confirmed network leadership for 14 years in Moldova, and best fixed internet experience in Spain according to MedUX for the second year running, 1st European satellite SMS operator.

Launched on 28 June, the campaign has been aired again in France in a new wave from 24 August, with a full media plan including TV, YouTube, SVOD platforms, social media, as well as press and outdoor advertising.

Already broadcast in Moldova and Poland, the campaign confirms its ability to adapt to different European markets while retaining the strength of its creative idea. It will also continue to roll out in 2027 in other European countries, extending its reach beyond the French market.
