Zoom Media, a leading UK provider of health and fitness digital media, has announced a strategic partnership with 1Rebel, a leading boutique fitness brand, marking the first step in Zoom Media’s drive to collaborate with boutique studios nationwide.

1Rebel and Zoom Media

The partnership will see Zoom Media deploy its premium digital advertising platform across 1Rebel’s London fitness studios, delivering targeted content to its members and class participants on D6 screens, a smaller Digital-Out-of-Home (OOH) format.

Unlike traditional OOH networks, Zoom Media’s platform ensures that only brand-approved, relevant advertising content is shown, protecting the in-studio aesthetic while enhancing the member experience through curated, high-quality campaigns.

The deal underscores a significant evolution in boutique fitness media, giving brand advertisers the opportunity to reach niche but highly-engaged audiences, while enabling 1Rebel to protect its brand integrity and unlock new revenue streams to support its growth ambitions.

“1Rebel is renowned for the brand they’ve built within the UK fitness scene, and are rightly protective of what goes into their studios”, said Ferne Langford, Partnership Group Director at Zoom Media.

“We’re proud to partner with a studio that shares our vision of premium, brand-safe digital content.

“For boutique operators, our offering represents a new approach – a way to generate revenue while keeping control of the brand narrative”.

By integrating seamlessly into the 1Rebel environment, Zoom Media’s solution allows the brand to engage members with bespoke studio messaging, enhance loyalty, and offer relevant third-party promotions – all without compromising on experience or identity.

Michelle Stoodley, Marketing Director at 1Rebel, said: “We’re excited to work with Zoom Media to open up our screens to their advertising partners, and enhance the content we’re sharing with our community.”

Zoom Media’s boutique studio programme is designed to bring the commercial sophistication of large-chain gym media to the boutique fitness landscape, aiming to empower studios with the digital innovation typically reserved for larger operators alongside new commercial opportunities.
