Zitcha, a leading omnichannel retail media technology platform, has appointed Lisa Avery as Vice President, EMEA.

Avery will be instrumental in the ongoing development of the business’s technology roadmap and capabilities in the EMEA region, such as Margin Manager, which is designed to give retail media businesses greater visibility and control over campaign profitability.

Avery has spent two years as Director of Customer Success, EMEA, where she has worked closely with Zitcha’s customers to support their growth and success with its retail media technology. During this time, Zitcha has maintained a 100% customer retention rate across the region, underscoring the strength of its customer relationships and the value its technology delivers as retailers continue to develop and scale their media businesses.

“Over the past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with our ambitious customers and develop a deep understanding of what matters most to them as they navigate the opportunities and challenges shaping the region”, Avery said.

“I’m looking forward to working with our passionate team to build on the momentum we have achieved and to continue delivering incredible results for our customers.”

Avery replaces incumbent VP, Dan Sands, who played a significant role in establishing and growing Zitcha’s presence in EMEA. During his tenure, Sands helped launch the business in the region and was instrumental in building its commercial presence and driving sales across the market.

Troy Townsend, co-Founder & CEO at Zitcha, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to Dan for everything he has done to establish Zitcha in EMEA and build the foundations for the business we have today. His contribution has been hugely important, and we wish him every success for the future.

“We’re now in an exciting position in EMEA, with a strong team, deep customer relationships and a clear opportunity to continue investing in the region.

“Lisa is the natural choice, having delivered such outstanding customer success over the past two years. She understands their businesses, their priorities and what they need from Zitcha. That customer perspective is invaluable as we enter the next stage of our growth.”

Avery’s appointment reflects Zitcha’s continued commitment to the EMEA market, the company said, as it focuses on expanding its regional footprint while continuing to invest in its people, customers and technology.
