Wunderman Thompson UK names Ben Worden Head of Planning


Wunderman Thompson UK has boosted its strategic offering with the appointment of Ben Worden as its new Head of Planning.

Worden joins from adam&eve DDB where he was Group Planning Partner for brands including Lloyds Banking Group, McCain, Save the Children and Diageo.

Under his leadership, Lloyds Banking Group saw significant uplift across awareness, share of search and consideration, subsequently leading to an IPA Effectiveness award.

In his new role, Worden will take responsibility for leading Wunderman Thompson’s planning department, cementing their transformation as the home of modern planning and harnessing the agency’s uniquely integrated offering, most recently named as Campaign’s Global Integrated Network of the Year.

He will help to create some of the world’s most distinctive communications on the planet and create work that gets talked about from the ad-world to the real-world.

Worden will also be the strategy partner on Wunderman Thompson’s HSBC account, one of the agency’s most awarded clients for creativity and effectiveness, winning over 60 awards in the past two years alone from D&AD, Cannes Lions, The Drum awards, Marketing Week and the Campaign Big awards, among others.
