Samsung hands EU CRM brief to Wunderman Thompson

Samsung, the global technology company, has awarded its European CRM accounts to Wunderman Thompson UK.

The integrated marketing agency has retained the CRM account through a competitive statutory review, helping Samsung to build a connected customer experience grounded in data.

Wunderman Thompson has been Samsung’s agency of record across CRM since 2017 and will continue to work across the account, while launching projects across their first party data as the industry prepares for a cookieless future.

Ihab Moawad, Director of Data Driven Marketing & Technology at Samsung, said: “We’re delighted to continue to work with Wunderman Thompson, a team and agency who continually surprise us and push us forward.

Through the process they demonstrated real craft in bringing together both to create a connected journey that we believe will provide real value to our customers.”

Pip Hulbert, UK CEO of Wunderman Thompson, added: “Continuing our work with Samsung means a huge amount to us, it’s testament to the strong relationship we’ve developed and the challenges we’ve helped to solve so far.

“With creative, data and strategy under one roof we’re looking forward to uniting Samsung’s CRM and first party data, putting data-led theory into action.”

Wunderman said on its CRM website that, by better understanding customers, it enables brands and businesses to inspire their customers along the individual journey.

CRM makes brands more valuable to customers and customers more valuable to brands.

Wunderman transforms the experience through personalisation and omnichannel orchestration , powered by intelligent data sensory systems, activated through integrated technology platforms and delivered via customer-centric operating models.
