Vodafone’s ‘True Unlimited’ short takes Dutch popstar to the skies

Bente

Vodafone Netherlands has released the second instalment of its ‘True Unlimited’ campaign, featuring Bente. The film, by UK creative agency Brothers & Sisters, sees the Dutch popstar skydiving at maximum speed.

Visual metaphor

Bente soaring through the sky is a visual metaphor, demonstrating that only at Vodafone does everyone get maximum speed on all ‘Unlimited’ plans.

In the film, a host of characters rush through the clouds alongside Bente, each using their subscription differently, from a businessman in a virtual meeting to a gamer in action to family members catching up on a call.

It’s all set to the soundtrack of Bente’s incredible vocals in an iconic re-recording of I’m So Excited by The Pointer Sisters. The new campaign showcases where Vodafone truly stands out from its competitors, democratising speed so everyone can enjoy maximum internet speed across all ‘Unlimited’ plans, with no speed limits or caps.

The 360 campaign, including a hero 30” film, which breaks this week across TVC, VOD, radio, OOH, retail, social, online and digital, will run for six weeks across the Netherlands.

It builds on the first ‘True Unlimited’ campaign spot with Bente, which showed the singer-songwriter steadily increasing in pace as she moved from skates and a scooter to finally speeding through the canals on water skis.

This time, Vodafone’s maximum speed and unlimited data offering is taken to the next level with skydiving; the ultimate form of feeling free at pace.

Sarah Carolin, Client Managing Director at Brothers & Sisters, said: “Taking Bente to the sky is a perfect metaphor to capture the freedom that only Vodafone Unlimited plans can deliver.

“By showing people using their connections in different ways, we’re demonstrating what makes Vodafone stand out: maximum speed for everyone, on all Unlimited plans.”
