UK rapper Mist to host new car show series Gassed Up on BBC Three

BBC Three has announced that Birmingham rapper Mist will be the host of its new driving series Gassed Up.

Gassed Up will see the MOBO award-winning musician take on six celebrities in some of the biggest challenges the UK scene has to offer.

Joining Mist in the first series will be a host of celebs from the world of TV, music and sport, including  double Olympic gold medallist boxer Nicola Adams OBE, comedian and TV presenter Joel Dommett, Grammy nominated songwriter and footballer Chelcee Grimes, TV personality and entrepreneur Spencer Matthews, grime MC and TV presenter Big Narstie and actor Ryan Thomas.

Each episode will see Mist go head to head in a high octane challenge against one of his celebrity guests – supported by expert driver and Drift Queen Becky Evans, pro BMXer and prankster Ryan Taylor and Supercar Dealer Rob Kelly.

Mentored and judged by specialists from the scene, Mist and his guests will learn the tricks of the trade, equipping them to create and commandeer crazy vehicles, leading to an ultimate head to head track challenge.
