Global social-first agency Socially Powerful has appointed Tina Fegent as non-executive director.
Fegent joins the agency with immediate effect. At Socially Powerful, she will work closely with founding partners James Hacking and Majid Bahi to support the strategic business growth of the agency.
Fegent has a formidable reputation within the industry and is known as one of the first people to work in marketing procurement, having more than three decades of experience in the sector.
She has her own consultancy practice and has worked with a number of major brands on their marketing procurement strategies and pitch processes, including innocent, Primark and Scholl.
She chairs the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply’s Group on Marketing as well.
Fegent established many of the first marketing procurement teams in the UK, for brands including Cellnet, GSK and Orange.
She was also the first procurement professional to work agency-side, joining Grey Advertising as commercial director, and taking on the same role later at Lowe Advertising.
