THE FIFTH launches in US with senior hires from TikTok and 72andSunny


Award-winning UK social creative agency THE FIFTH, known for its viral creator marketing campaigns, today announced two new hires to its Los Angeles-based team, as the company expands in the US. 

Subin Kim joins as Creative Strategy Director and Shannon Reed joins as Vice President of Accounts & Operations.


An early expert in the evolving creator industry, Subin Kim, who will lead the strategy team at THE FIFTH, will work closely with brand clients to redefine the role of social and entertainment today. 

Kim was the first creative strategy hire for the TikTok LA office, leading its entertainment vertical and building out the platform’s Creative Lab. 

KIM is tasked with growing THE FIFTH’s client portfolio and providing both strategic and creative direction for brands.

Shannon Reed officially joins THE FIFTH as Vice President of Accounts and Operations. 

As THE FIFTH expands into the US market, she will be responsible for developing and managing the local client roster and is passionate about establishing professionalism around the evolving creator space. 

With 12+ years of deep agency experience from Droga to 72andSunny, Reed brings valuable client relations expertise across a variety of verticals, including major tech industry campaigns.

Based at FOX Studios in LA and supported by parent company News UK and News Corp, THE FIFTH will continue its mission to deliver outstanding social creative campaigns by leading with culture and a trusted, transparent and professional approach.

Since launch in 2019, THE FIFTH has seen rapid growth from its creative-led influencer marketing proposition.

The business was also recently awarded four awards at the prestigious Influencer Marketing Awards 2022, including an award for its work with YouTube.
