Treasury Wine brief

The Corner will start work immediately on a creative brand strategy and subsequent global advertising campaign which will continue the momentum behind the brand in a number of markets including the UK, Australia, Asia and USA.

Neil Simpson, Founder & CEO, The Corner, said: “There were a lot of great international agencies involved in this pitch so it’s no surprise that we are squealing with joy.”

Marcus Ingleby, Head of Brand Marketing, TWE, said: “The Corner impressed us with their smarts, creativity and collaborative way of working from the off.

“They demonstrated a great understanding of exactly what makes this brand so special and unique, and how we might continue to unlock its potential for recruitment into the category.”

Squealing Pig was named after the pigs occupying the grounds of the brand’s historic homestead, overlooking the original Squealing Pig vineyard in New Zealand’s South Island.

The company’s wines can be found in a range of UK supermarkets including Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Ocado.

According to the firm’s website, each mealtime the pigs would squeal with delight – a noise that travelled down to the vineyard – and beyond!

Treasury Wine Estates is an Australian global winemaking and distribution business with headquarters in Melbourne. It was formerly the wine division of international brewing company Foster’s Group.
