Spotify launches Find Your Feels campaign for Gen Z

Spotify Find Your Feels - mediashotz

Spotify has launched a brand new multi-channel influencer campaign Find Your Feels, to empower Gen Z to express themselves.

Working with activists, influencers, artists and more, the campaign celebrates the journeys of those aged 16-24, and the role music plays in helping them to find their feels and rhythm in life.

Spotify’s Find Your Feels

Spotify’s latest campaign encourages Gen Z to express who they are and what they believe in, with the coming-of-age journey for that age group never having been more open and colourful.

Young audiences trust brands with a rich heritage in music and audio like Spotify to soundtrack their lives – allowing young people around the world to find and express their own voice and beliefs.

Culture Next, Spotify Advertising’s annual study into the listening habits and preferences of those aged 15 to 25 and 26 to 40 respectively found that 47% of Gen Zs believe they have become part of a global community because of either music or podcasts.

Spotify has teamed up with a range of role models to tell their own unique and compelling stories via the Find Your Feels campaign including:

  • Lucy Edwards (she/her): broadcaster, blind disability activist, content creator
  • Shaquille-Aaron Keith (he/him): poet, artist
  • Kenny Ethan Jones (he/him): trans activist, model
  • Jamie Windust (they/them): author, Gay Times editor, model
  • Callum Hudson-Odoi (he/him): Chelsea footballer

Alongside this group of young people, Molly-Mae Hague, Mr Tov, Lottie Tomlinson, Amber Gill and many more will be joining to explore their feels around seminal moments and experiences in their lives, and the songs that remind them, inspired them, motivated them or guided them through these moments.

The campaign will run across influencer and Spotify social accounts as well as through paid social media channels, TikTok and YouTube.

The campaign will also be a featured display on partner sites such as Popsugar, COMPLEX and SoleCollector.
