Sport UNLIMITED tapped for Clipper Round the World digital role

Sport UNLIMITED, the fully integrated sports marketing agency and part of UK conversion agency, UNLIMITED, has been appointed by Clipper Ventures to design and build the new website for Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, following a competitive pitch.

Spanning over 40,000 nautical miles, the event takes non-professional sailors on a challenging journey around the globe.

The Sport UNLIMITED team will design and develop a new website for Clipper Ventures, to launch in 2024, aimed at driving engagement from fans, Race Crew and their families, as well as commercial partners.

The new site will bring diverse stories of race preparation and participation to life.

Won through a pitch process, the adventure company was impressed with Sport UNLIMITED’s expertise in the sporting industry combined with their wider digital and marketing proposition.

The win continues to build upon a year of growth for Sport UNLIMITED in 2023.

Sport UNLIMITED will draw on insights from UNLIMITED’s Human Understanding Lab (a team of 120 data scientists, behavioural scientists, researchers, and neuroscientists) to inform the work.

The Human Understanding Lab will allow the team a deeper understanding of the target and how the new website could provide a key role in growing the audience, while ensuring brand partners are always key part of the experience.
