Specsavers’ in-house agency names Sid Tomkins Head of Design


Specsavers today announced the appointment of Sid Tomkins as Head of Design for The Agency.

Having worked as a consultant for Specsavers since July 2022, Tomkins will be responsible for the Design output of the in-house Agency.

Prior to joining Specsavers, Tomkins spent 20 years building and managing design departments and studios for agencies including BBH and the Ogilvy Global network.

He has also run his own design business Baker Tomkins, which was widely recognised as the benchmark for crafted design and typographic excellence, with a production service to match.

In addition, he ran Watershed Studio, which was acquired by Ogilvy in 2000.
