Snapchat Crying Lens leaves users in tears with hilarious results

A new Snapchat Lens that makes users look like they’re crying, is proving a hit with so-called Snapchatters.

The Crying Lens is available on Spotlight (Snapchat’s in-app entertainment platform for UGC content) and other platforms and allows you to plant tears on your face – or your friends’ often with hilarious results.

Since launching at the start of May, over 180 million Snapchatters have engaged with the new Crying Lens 1.3 billion times.

The Lens is available globally on iOS and Android on Snapchat – and you can try it now: here.

The lens has proved so popular some users are asking if it’s also available on other platforms such as TikTok.

Snapchat allows users to personalise their own filters and lenses, whether it’s a Filter that frames the moments at a friend’s wedding or a lens that makes birthdays even more hilarious.
