Apple TV has released a brilliant first trailer for series 6 of hit British spy drama Slow Horses, ahead of it coming to air next month.
Slow Horses 6
The series is based on a book series by Mick Herron, and follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 – Slough House.
Gary Oldman stars as “Jackson Lamb,” the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies who end up in Slough House due to their career ending mistakes.
In the trailer Oldman – as Lamb – has to try to figure out who is killing his spies. His task is thwarted by a blast from the past surprise return of a character, who was apparently killed off in the first series.
In addition to Oldman, the cast includes fan favourites Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Rosalind Eleazar, Joanna Scanlan, Samuel West, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, Jonathan Pryce and Hugo Weaving.
The first episode of Slow Horses is set to air on Wednesday, September 16 and will be followed by weekly episodes until October 21 on Apple TV.
