Award-winning actor, writer, and comedian, Sally Phillips, will host the annual Product of the Year Awards at a virtual ceremony on Wednesday 27 January.
Phillips, best known for her roles in ‘I’m Alan Partridge’, ‘Bridget Jones Diary’, ‘Smack the Pony’ and ‘Miranda’, will play the role of compère and host during the awards ceremony.
Now in its 17th year, Product of the Year is the UK’s largest survey of product innovation, chosen by 10,000 consumers.
The winners will earn the right to proudly display the iconic Product of the Year logo on their packaging – a privilege not to be taken lightly, representing an average sale increase of between 10 and 15%.
Following a year unlike any other, Product of the Year 2021, will showcase the brands that have stepped up and demonstrated true innovation at a time when we needed it most.
Winners will be revealed across 34 categories, ranging from cleaning products to drinks, each noted for everyday innovation that make the lives of consumers that bit brighter and easier.
“Who better to host an award marking product innovation than a true innovator in the acting and comedy world”, said Helga Slater, MD, Product of the Year.
“We’re very excited to reveal the pioneering products that have won the Product of the Year title and wish all entrants the best of luck for Awards night.”
Join the event virtually
As with many events, the pandemic means that it sadly can’t take place with all the usual buzz and excitement of an awards bash at a real location, so this year, Product of the Year organisers said anyone is welcome to join the event virtually via this link.
