Res-tech Walr rebrands as it completes QuenchTec buy-out


Walr, the research-technology or res-tech company behind the Walr data creation platform, today launched its new brand identity, including a new logo, new look and feel and overhauled website. 

The move comes as the company unites behind one brand following the completion of its QuenchTec buy-out.

The post-pandemic firm said it has grown to over 50 employees since launch in October 2020.


Walr offers researchers seamless data creation and collection through its bespoke research platform, which allows users to create, access, analyse and distribute data all from one location.

Using the springboard of “Delight through dedication”, the new branding was created by agency MultiAdaptor and aims to give the company a fresh, fun and unique look and feel. 

Fully reflecting Walr’s approach, the brand shows joy in enabling data creation. It uses images inspired by research and data which are in motion, seeming to leap off the page. 

The ‘W’ in the logo is made up of bars from a bar chart set at different angles to surprise and delight, tying back to the notion of experiencing the joy of data. 

The main Walr brand colour is teal.

Last month Walr welcomed two senior hires to its global team – Emily Whiting, as chief of staff, and Keziah Wonstolen, as NED.
