Organic appoints Gillian Meier as Head of Digital Marketing

Digital agency Organic has appointed Gillian Meier as its Head of Digital Marketing, a new role for the agency.

Reporting into Operations Director Charlie Lycett-Smith, Meier is joining to lead, inspire, guide and build Organic’s Digital Marketing team.

She will have a particular focus on improving the data and analytics performance, while working closely with Organic’s Creative, UX and SEO leads to deliver best in class results for clients.

Meier will be responsible for the creation and delivery of digital marketing strategies across all accounts and disciplines. 

She will also provide expert advice and guidance across a full range of digital marketing solutions to clients and the team.

Previously CEO & Global Head at Digital Consultancy and Training Company, BlueMagnet (a business that she founded), Meier brings with her 24 years of award-winning experience in the digital sphere.

She has been instrumental in strategising and executing digital platform business models; digital marketing & digital strategies across various industries, specifically within eCommerce; Online Marketplaces; Online Recruitment and eLearning verticals across a multitude of global accounts.

Her most recent award wins include Assegai 2020 Leader Award for Most Effective Use of Content for the Real Heroes Connect, COVID-19 educational campaign. 

She also won a Bronze award for Social Responsibility and two Silvers for Video and Brand Purpose at the 2020 Mobile Marketing Awards.
