In his remit, Azorin will lead Ogury’s operations in the regions, further expanding the company’s business and operations across the French, Belgian and Dutch markets.
Azorin has extensive experience in the digital advertising industry, where he spent nearly 20 years developing businesses and strengthening relationships with advertisers and media partners across EMEA.
Prior to joining Ogury, Azorin was Managing Director EMEA at Criteo Retail Media for nearly 4 years. His hire was part of Criteo’s acquisition of Storetail – a leading EMEA retail media platform he co-founded in 2014 and managed as a CEO.
Before that, Azorin worked for other major media agencies such as iProspect and Wavemaker, where he created Wavemaker’s French digital media buying division which managed more than $40 million in media investments.
Today, Azorin is a business advisor to brands, retailers, media agencies and adtech companies alike, as well as a partner at 50 Partners, a French startup accelerator for innovative tech projects.
At Ogury, Azorin will widen the company’s scope as the go-to partner for brands and agencies, helping them reach relevant audiences without the use of personal information.
Based in Paris, he will report to Raphael Rodier, Chief Revenue Officer at Ogury.
“With its advertising solutions targeting personas, not people, Ogury is well equipped to face the latest industry developments,” said Azorin.
“Ogury’s outstanding growth, especially in programmatic, will continue to position it as a trusted industry partner, and I’m proud to be part of this journey alongside diverse talent and a strong leadership team.”
Raphael Rodier, CRO, Ogury, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Mathieu to Ogury”.
“His expertise in adtech and knowledge of our industry, not to mention the very strong relationships he has built with numerous EMEA players, make him the perfect addition to the team and we look forward to what we will achieve together.”
