Ogilvy one of the best places to work in the US if your LGBTQ

Global ad agency Ogilvy has been named one of the best places to work in the US if you’re LGBTQ.

The company, which has offices in London and around the world received a perfect score of 100 on the 2020 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) for the sixth consecutive year.

The CEI, administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation, is the US’s premier benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality.

Ogilvy among top firms

Ogilvy joins more than 680 major US businesses to also earn top marks this year.

Detailed criteria

The CEI rates companies and top law firms on detailed criteria falling under five broad categories: non-discrimination policies; employment benefits; demonstrated organisational competency and accountability around LGBTQ diversity and inclusion; public commitment to LGBTQ equality; and responsible citizenship.

The results of this year’s CEI showcase how 1,059 US-based companies are promoting LGBTQ-friendly workplace policies in the US. It also shows how they’re helping advance the cause of LGBTQ inclusion in workplaces abroad.

Ogilvy’s efforts to meet all the CEI criteria earned it the ranking and designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.

Inclusive culture
