Octave IP inks exclusive podcast deal with AdsWizz


Octave IP Limited today announced that it has entered into an agreement with AdsWizz to be its exclusive sales representative for advertising on certain podcasts owned and operated by SiriusXM and Stitcher Media LLC.

The deal will also include podcasts which SiriusXM and/or Stitcher has the right to manage and sell advertising in the UK.

Octave, the connected audio advertising joint venture between News UK and Bauer Media, will sell exclusive inventory across more than 500 shows on the SiriusXM Podcast Network.

The network hosts top podcasts including Pod Save the UK with Nish Kumar, Crime Junkie, Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday, I Weigh with Jameela Jamil, Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend and more, in the UK.

The exclusive agreement between Octave and AdsWizz means that advertisers will now have the ability to tap into premium podcast content and reach a highly engaged audience of podcast listeners in this growing market.

Octave will continue to leverage AdsWizz’s audio ad technology and advanced targeting capabilities to sell its audio network — which includes podcasts and stations across Bauer Media, NewsUK, and the AdsWizz Podcast Marketplace — in the UK, adopting AdsWizz’s innovative ad formats and data-driven advertising capabilities.
