Creative Direction appointments

Paul Coldham, previously JOE Media’s Head of Creative, will become Head of Creative Direction for The Sun, whilst Victoria White, previously Editorial Director for the Hearst Content Agency, will join as Head of Creative Direction for The Times.

Coldham has over 18 years’ experience in creative and leadership roles in the media industry, having previously worked with companies including Clear Channel, Mail Metro Media, Red Bull and, most recently, JOE Media.

White has worked in senior roles at Hearst for over 20 years, most recently developing the business’ commercial content offering as Commercial Content Director and Editorial Director.

The two new roles will report into David Dumville, Director of Content Solutions, Studio News UK.

David Dumville, Director of Content Solutions, Studio News UK, said: “The Times and The Sun are both iconic media brands which deliver impactful and effective content solutions at scale for advertising clients.

“Paul and Victoria bring enormous experience in commercial content and their appointment demonstrates our commitment to building a world-beating creative studio offer.”

Coldham said: “I’ve loved The Sun since I started reading it as a teenager, so I understand what makes this brand distinct and powerful.

“With its massive, engaged digital audience and unique tone of voice The Sun has a fantastic proposition in creative advertising content.”

White said: “The Times holds a unique place in British culture and is consumed by a hugely valuable, premium audience.

“I can’t wait to start working with clients to build innovative, targeted and engaging content campaigns across the brand’s multiple platforms.”
