New Commercial Arts promotes new leaders from within

Creative agency New Commercial Arts has promoted two of its internal people to key senior roles within the company.

James Derrick has been promoted to Head of Client Service at New Commercial Arts, taking overall responsibility for ensuring and maintaining the highest standards of client service across the agency.

Lauren Nuttall has been promoted to Head of Account Management, responsible for recruitment, allocation, and retention of talent in the department.

She and Derrick were both made Partners in September 2022, and are part of the team which has been with New Commercial Arts since it opened its doors in 2020.

Derrick has also led the MoneySuperMarket, Nando’s and Royal Enfield accounts.

He joined the agency as a Business Director from adam&eveDDB, where he spent over five years on multiple global and local accounts including Halifax, EA Sports FIFA, Adidas, Heineken, Volkswagen and Sony Mobile.

He previously worked at M&C Saatchi and music service provider I Like Music.

At New Commercial Arts, Nuttall has led the Vodafone global and Alzheimer’s Society accounts.

She has over a decade’s experience in Account Management, having previously worked at Creature and WCRS on brands including Warburtons, Direct Line Group, B&Q and Qatar Airways.
