Award winning MISSION Group agencies, Story Edinburgh, Story Newcastle and Chapter Agency Birmingham have come together to form Story Group.
The new organisation will use its combined strength and multi-sector experience to address client challenges using smart creative solutions to turn customers into brand believers.
With over 60 staff forming close ties, the award-winning group will operate under the name Story, out of three offices in Birmingham, Edinburgh and Newcastle.
Story will continue to create innovative and memorable work for clients including Ardbeg, Calor, Home Office, Jewson, People’s Postcode Lottery, M&S Bank and Whitworths.
To consolidate the move, the Story Group’s new website at story.agency brings together the three locations and showcases the group’s philosophy and work. The group’s services include the full spectrum of advertising, brand development and digital disciplines.
With a new geographic footprint from the Midlands to the North of England and the addition of combined sector expertise, Story Group can now provide increased planning and creative firepower.
Through the reorganisation, CEO Dan Burman becomes CEO Story Group and Story MD Sue Mullen becomes the Chair of Story Group.
Clients will continue to be supported in each location with the benefit of additional expertise from across the group.
The new organisation’s working ethic is borderless and collegiate with the capacity to scale and handle client work of all sizes.
Dan Burman, CEO of Story Group, said: “Our people are excited to be working with an increased cohort of colleagues in three locations, with all the professional and personal opportunities that can bring.
“Clients will benefit from an expanded breadth of talent, experience and resources. Our mantra, Make Believers, is at the heart of our outstanding creative and insightful strategies which turn our clients’ customers into powerful brand believers instead.”
James Clifton, MISSION Group Chief Executive said: “The forming of the Story Group strengthens MISSION as well as the agency’s offering, by bringing closer together a raft of talent in three locations.
“It bolsters agency skills and experience across disciplines and sectors, which will benefit existing and prospective clients alike.
“It’s testament to the successful MISSION model, which seeks to bring like-minded agencies together, while celebrating their independent natures and entrepreneurial spirit.”
