Making Science names Rodney Perry Head of Data and Analytics

Making Science, a digital acceleration company specialising in e-commerce, cloud and digital transformation, has appointed Rodney Perry as Head of Data and Analytics.

The appointment will further expand Making Science’s data consultancy provision and expertise — its specialist data team currently comprises 60% of the company — to help clients to unlock the true potential of their data and digitally transform their business.

As Head of Data & Analytics, Perry will focus on supporting Making Science’s UK clients, with input on a global level where required. His remit will include building a team of analytics consultants to help clients develop strategies to measure, analyse and activate their data for optimal success.

Perry has 15 years of digital and data analytics experience at companies including iCrossing and Media.Monks, where he led and oversaw GA4 implementations.

Based in London, Perry will report to Paula Gomez Anaya, Global Data and Ad Tech Director.

Speaking about his appointment, Perry said: “I look forward to leading Making Science’s buoyant UK data team, and helping our clients to better understand and integrate their data, to enable their tech stacks and solutions to work harder.

“GA4 is often implemented incorrectly, I hope to be able to educate clients to maximise the results from their advertising campaigns”.

The appointment follows the release of innovative Making Science products, further bolstering client offerings.

Making Science recently launched BrandMax which amplifies the impact of branding campaigns using custom bidding technology based on user value.

This followed the launch of Trust Generative AI in April 2023, a generative AI platform which solves two commonly-faced AI challenges, the difficulty of accessing non-public company data, and the absence of updated information in generative models.
