The app offers a tailored programme to support different goals, whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or more advanced.

It also includes a ‘Lives’ feature where people can join Joe for a Bootcamp session in real time.

With over 20,000 app store reviews, the iOS app quickly established itself as one of the number one health and fitness apps in the UK.

There were plenty of insights and learnings to incorporate as independent digital product studio ustwo designed the Android experience for Novoda to develop and engineer.

At launch, the iOS app rocketed to number one in the App Store resulting in a five fold increase in customer growth year on year.

The app has 4.8 star rating in the Apple store and it has been regularly featured by Apple as app of the day.

Mental wellbeing became even more important since lockdown, and Joe’s incredibly popular online classes helped many of us stay fit and healthy at home.

Wellness is better thought of as a journey, not a destination and offering The Body Coach app to Android users means a new group of people can be supported, motivated and encouraged.

With The Body Coach you have a vibrant and diverse community who will give you a boost.

Joe said of the new release: “I’m so excited to finally be launching the Body Coach app on Android. This app really is changing people’s lives.

“My mission is to make the world fitter, healthier and happier and now we’ll be able to reach even more people.”

The app claims to be aimed at everyone, whether they are a total beginner, or at an advanced level.

Users can choose between vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian and meat-based meal plans, and all recipes are tailored to individual requirements.

Nicki Sprinz, Managing Director at ustwo Europe said: “We were so encouraged by the amazing uptake of The Body Coach iOS app and we have been able to apply learnings from that app to the Android edition.

“We’re really pleased to be able to bring this service to a huge audience of Android users and offer them the opportunity to really make a change to their lives.”
