Brand agency JDO has announced two new director appointments for its New York office.
Kate Wierman has been named as Client Director of the New York studio and Ben Ridley has been appointed as Design Director.
JDO expands NYC office
In this role, Wierman will be supporting JDO’s roster of US-based clients in growing their brands through distinctive and transformative creative solutions.
She will also work closely with JDO’s US Vice President Ellie Hansen in shaping the direction and growth of the award-winning agency’s studio in the US.
A strategic leader with a robust background in marketing and account management, Wierman has worked on a number of large corporate visual identity and packaging rebrands including Campbell’s Soup, Samsung, BlackRock, Cadillac and Subway.
“I’m tremendously excited to be taking this new step with JDO and to be part of a team that embraces the entrepreneurial spirit,” said Wierman.
“Incredible opportunities and adventures lie ahead for the NY studio, and I cannot wait for the world to see what we create.”
Also joining the team in NY is Ben Ridley as Design Director. An exceptional talent, Ridley brings fresh perspective and energy to the role, as well as incredible experience working on some of American’s best known brands including Snickers, M&M, Bud Light and Target.
“Everyone knows that JDO is a creative powerhouse, but it is also known for having an incredible company culture,” said Ridley.
“For me, collaborating with amazing people in an exciting environment is what it’s all about.
“I am looking forward to helping build a great creative team in the NY studio and doing some killer work that expands JDO’s footprint here in the US.”
“JDO has ambitious plans for our future in the US, and to meet our standards of excellence, we need talented, experienced, creative and energetic individuals,” said Hansen.
“Kate and Ben more than fit the bill. They join at a fortuitous time as we build on our relationships with notable US companies such as Mondelez, Pernod Ricard, Unilever and many more.
“Not only will they help us deliver stunning creativity that creates belief, but also in creating an inspiring environment to work and create.”
