Now 80 years old, Ford looks in great shape as he dodges every kind of evil and danger in the one minute 43 second trailer.

The trailer, which has racked up more than 1.4 million views in the first five hours of its release on producer Lucasfilm‘s YouTube page, has moved forward in time to 1969, with Jones still battling against Nazis.

Starring alongside Ford is British actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who plays Dr Jones’ goddaughter.

Actor John Rhys-Davies reprising his role as the loveable and devious Sallah, which he first played in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Destiny awaits: Indiana Jones set to return to the big screen next year.

A host of other stars joining them are Antonio Banderas, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Olivier Richters, Ethan Isidore, and Mads Mikkelsen.

The film is directed by James Mangold and looks set to be a treat for Indiana fans around the world.

They’ll need to wait until next year to see the much anticipated ‘Raiders’ film, which is set for release on 30 June 2023.
