Fresha, the global beauty and wellness marketplace platform, has appointed IMA (formerly IMA-HOME) as its new performance marketing agency.

Fresha brief

The brief is to use performance channels to accelerate growth, unlock new media opportunities and grow the brand’s presence in international territories.

IMA won the account after a competitive pitch involving six agencies led by Fresha’s CMO, Steve Rodgers.

Fresha allows consumers to discover, book and pay for beauty and wellness appointments with local businesses via its marketplace, while beauty and wellness businesses and professionals use an all-in-one platform to manage their entire operations.

The brand’s ambition is to improve efficiency, scale existing performance marketing channels and expand the brand globally.

IMA takes over the account from mid-May as the lead agency for the platform, with the account being run between IMA’s Leeds and London offices, in conjunction with the Fresha team at their London HQ.

Steve Rodgers, Chief Marketing Officer at Fresha, said: “We were impressed by IMA’s depth of expertise, not only in performance marketing, but in the wider media landscape as well as their broad range of services that will help us as we scale the business and expand globally.

“IMA has the right firepower to meet our huge ambitions.”

Ben Cunningham, Media Director at IMA, added: “Fresha is a fast-growing company that empowers service providers to maximise the opportunities for their businesses to flourish.

“It’s a great industry to work with and we look forward to bringing Fresha to new audiences on new platforms and in new territories.”

Founded by William Zeqiri in 2015, Fresha is now used by 110,000+ businesses and 450,000+ stylists and professionals worldwide, processing over one billion appointments to date.
