IMA-HOME promotes Jack Sails to Associate Director of Technology

Global full-service creative agency, IMA-HOME, has promoted former head of HX (Hybrid Experience) Jack Sails to become Associate Director of Technology.

The newly created role will still see Jack working across HX and reporting into Jonathan Price, IMA-HOME’s director of digital.

But his reach is now broadened to provide cross-agency support and act as a bridge to ensure technology uplifts every part of IMA-HOME’s operations.

On moving into his new position Sails said: “I’m so keen to get cracking with this new role. Having led our hybrid experience team and focused on innovation, this isn’t necessarily a departure.

“It’s a deeper dive into what I love – integrating and elevating tech, especially AI, across our entire operation.

“It’s about dedicating more to technology, making sure it isn’t just an add-on but a core part of how everyone works. Pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve with AI and new platforms. From cutting-edge techniques to crafting powerful tools to amplify our client support.

“It’s great that IMA-HOME is so forward-thinking in that sense.”

Alex Uprichard, managing director at IMA-HOME, added: “Jack’s promotion is so well deserved and we’re incredibly lucky to have him in this position at IMA-HOME.

“Our future is tech, and Jack and his team will be there to leverage our advancements in AI effectively and guide clients through the ever-changing tech landscape, where many can see the potential but don’t know where to start.

“Technology, particularly AI, is our biggest lever for unlocking new potential. It’s not just about staying current, it’s about leading the charge, transforming how we work and what we create.

“We want to turn tech into a superpower for everyone in the agency – and Jack is right at the heart of that.”

Sails joined IMA-HOME in 2019 as a digital account director, after spending more than six years as an account manager and then account director at the Leeds-based Parallax Agency.

After more than a decade now in the creative industry, Sails said: “There has never been a more exciting time in technology and AI in particular isn’t just another tool – it’s our chance to redefine creativity and productivity across the board.

“I’m here to help us navigate these waters, bringing our internal teams and our clients into a new era of innovation. We’ve got some amazing things in the pipeline at IMA-HOME and we can’t wait to show you what’s coming next.”

Sails will be working across the roster at IMA-HOME, including clients such adidas, AG Barr, Hisense, Jet2, Royal Canin, Reebok, Wren Kitchens and more.
