Hit foodie podcast ‘Dish’, the UK’s biggest branded podcast created, developed and produced for Waitrose & Partners by the culture and content agency S:E Creative Studio, returns this week (September 13) for a fourth season.
The show is made to be shared with dinner guests, the studio audience, and followers at home.
Each episode features a recipe from Waitrose, cooking tips from a Michelin star chef (Angela Hartnett), drinks recommendations from one of our beloved broadcasters (Nick Grimshaw), and a meal enjoyed by some of the UK’s favourite celebrities, who in turn share their own food and life stories with the Dish audience.
It’s consumed as both a podcast and through the weekly selection of easily digestible social videos which have amassed over 65 million views.
Dish by Waitrose is the UK’s most hospitable food and entertainment podcast AND the only branded podcast to have become a mainstay of the UK audio charts.
Named one of Apple’s top podcast picks for summer 2023, ‘Dish’ has been rated 4.9/5 on Spotify and has consistently topped Apple’s Food Podcast Charts.
The News Agents, Sara Cox, Miriam Margolyes, Amol Rajan and The Whitehalls and Joe Wicks are among guests appearing in season four, which kicks off with Gordon Ramsay on September 13.
Ben Kerr, Managing Director at S:E Creative Studio, said: “Dish is a podcast and social media strategy that has turned a meal from Waitrose into a weekly cultural event, converting listeners to cooks and hosts with each mouth-watering episode.”
Nathan Ansell, Waitrose Customer Director, said: “The response to ‘Dish’ over the last year has been incredible, with top listener ratings from Spotify and staying at #1 in the Apple Food podcast chart.
“The amazing guest line-up for Season 4 means listeners are in for a lot more fun and foodie conversation hosted by Nick and Angela.”
