Hearts & Science, Omnicom Media Group’s high-growth agency brand, has promoted UK MD Garrett O’Reilly to the role of UK CEO. 

O’Reilly sits on the Omnicom Media Group UK board and will continue to report to OMG’s UK chief executive Dan Clays.

O’Reilly will take primary responsibility for building on Hearts’ significant growth in the UK over the past year. 

The agency has seen billings rise by 20%, with client wins including Peloton, Hargreaves Lansdown, and SumUp, and the retention without pitch of the GoCompare business.

O’Reilly’s promotion comes as Hearts is named exclusive global media agency partner by Virgin Voyages, following a pitch. 

The win means the agency will oversee all activity across AV, performance and digital in the UK for the adults-only luxury global cruise line.

O’Reilly is part of the original 2017 Hearts & Science launch team, which saw him start as head of client experience before becoming managing director the following year. 

He has developed his career at agencies within the Omnicom Media Network, including senior level roles at M2M and OMD.
