The 2022 Global Multi-Region Effie competition is open for entries.

The competition recognises marketing efforts that have run in at least four countries and two regions.

To be eligible to enter the 2022 competition, a case must have run in at least four countries worldwide and in at least two regions between September 1, 2018 – December 31, 2021, and in at least one country between September 1, 2020 – December 31, 2021.

The first entry deadline is May 18, 2022 ($1,500 USD) and the final deadline is June 8, 2022 ($2,500 USD).

Effie Worldwide offers a 50% discount for non-profits and fees are being waived for entrants from Ukraine.

Last year’s winners were Restaurant Brands International and INGO Stockholm for Burger King’s “Moldy Whopper” (Gold); Unilever Singapore, Hindustan Unilever and MullenLowe Lintas Group for Lifebuoy’s “H is for Handwashing” (Bronze); and Babyshop and FP7 McCann Dubai for ‘Rephrasing “Parenthood”’ (Bronze).

The Effie Awards were launched in 1968 by the New York American Marketing Association as an awards program to honour the most effective advertising efforts.

The award now honours all forms of effective marketing and the companies and individuals creating effective work across the globe.
