Free Partners names Rachael Newton PR and Advocacy Director

Free Partners, an integrated Brand and Communications Agency, has announced the appointment of Rachael Newton as PR and Advocacy Director, starting in January 2022.

With more than 17 years of consumer and corporate PR, communications and marketing experience, Newton joins Free Partners with in-house experience of working for global drinks giant Diageo on some of the world’s most iconic brands, including Guinness and Baileys, and also at insurance company RSA. 

She has also worked agency-side on brands such as Barclays, Sony, Direct Line, The Royal Navy and the NHS and was recently Marketing Director for a leading UK leisure business.

Newton has a successful track record in growing brands and businesses and specialises in brand storytelling, building advocacy and creating award-winning communications campaigns. 

The work that Rachael created and led has won numerous national PR and Marketing awards including The Drum’s Marketing Campaign of the Year.

As well as overseeing the PR and Advocacy offer, Newton will work with the wider marketing and communications team at Free Partners to develop innovative integrated marketing strategies for clients to help them achieve immediate impact and sustainable growth.
