Inclusive creative communications agency Folk has bolstered its team with two additional hires to support its expansion, following its rebrand last year and record growth.
The appointments reflect the agency’s ambition to raise the profile of representation and inclusion in marketing.
Bethan Williams (left, main pic) joins as Senior Account Manager from The Romans, where she worked on a vast number of consumer brands, including Ecover, method, Bambino Mio, Ballantine’s Scotch Whisky and previously, Lidl, Ella’s Kitchen and Nursem.
At Folk, Williams will work on a number of consumer accounts and support the agency’s newsjacking capabilities. She takes up her role immediately.
Williams is joined by communications assistant Amber Davies (right, main pic), who recently graduated from Oxford University and brings a background in driving inclusion in comms, including work for the Oxford LGBTQ+ SU Campaign, access and outreach comms for Regent’s Park College, and internal communications for the NHS.
She joins the agency this month in the newly-created role.
Sharon Flaherty, CEO of Folk said: “We’ve had a strong growth period since we rebranded and changed our agency focus last year and are now focused on a number of building blocks for further growth.
“Our new appointments are enabling us to build a robust agency structure to support further growth and bring additional experience and skills into the agency team.”
