The inaugural Web3 Job Fair — a virtual networking event by Web3 marketing agency Hype — is taking place right now in the metaverse. It will run throughout 16 and 17 February 17 2023.
The fair, which is set to be hosted in the virtual world of Gather, will connect leading Web3 brands with some of the brightest minds in the space.
Over 2,000 professionals are expected to attend the event, where they’ll have the opportunity to meet hiring managers and thought leaders from top organisations like BNB Chain, The Graph and DFINITY among others.
At the fair, attendees will have a chance to explore technical and non-technical roles across various disciplines, including engineering, marketing, product, design, data science and biz dev.
“As part of our mission to supercharge the Web3 ecosystem, we want to bring together some of the amazing talent and companies committed to building the future of the internet,” said James Ross, Managing Director at Hype.
“Over 67,000 people have lost their jobs in tech layoffs in 2023. We want to help as many of them as possible find new opportunities at Web3 Job Fair.”
In addition to an exciting program packed with thought-provoking keynotes, panels and workshops with speakers from Ethereum, Polygon, Celo and Radix, Web3 Job Fair will also feature gaming experiences, an interactive project area, a curated NFT gallery, and a slick meeting lounge where attendees can network over drinks or lunch.
“Web3 Job Fair is about more than networking. It’s a place to exchange ideas and knowledge about the best ways to make decentralized tech more accessible to the masses,” said Robert Parry, Recruitment Director at Hype.
