In the newly created role, Bristow will work closely with Dexerto’s founders and senior leadership team to support the company’s next phase of growth.
His remit focuses on shaping Dexerto’s long-term growth strategy, strengthening and scaling its commercial and operational foundations, and preparing the business for strategic transactions, partnerships, and inorganic expansion.
Bristow will also be responsible for Dexerto’s global corporate development, with a mandate to pursue strategic acquisitions internationally.
A core focus of the role will be accelerating Dexerto’s evolution from a high-growth digital publisher into a technology-enabled media platform, including the introduction of new revenue streams across content, data, advertising technology, and owned network products.
Dexerto has built a category-defining position at the intersection of gaming, creators, and digital entertainment, reaching hundreds of millions of Gen Z and Millennial fans each month across social, video, and web.
The company regularly ranks as number one gaming publisher in the US and UK by Comscore and operates one of the most engaged social media networks in global youth culture.
Bristow joins Dexerto from London-based media agency MNC, where he served as CEO.
Previously, he was co-owner and COO of leading social and influencer agency NewGen.
Commenting on his appointment, Bristow said: “Dexerto has spent more than a decade earning trust and relevance with a generation that has moved on from traditional media.
“What excites me is the opportunity to help turn that cultural authority into a scaled, technology-led platform with real strategic value. The ambition here is significant, and the foundations couldn’t be stronger.”
Joshua Nino, CEO and co-founder at Dexerto added: “Luke brings deep experience across media, commercial strategy, and business transformation.
“As we prepare the business for its next phase of scale — including strategic partnerships and potential acquisitions — Luke’s leadership will be instrumental in helping Dexerto grow globally while staying true to the DNA that has hardwired our brands into today’s cultural zeitgeist.”
