IMPACT+, the solution to reducing the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) – CO2 – emissions of digital advertising, has partnered with Azerion UK, to drive vital efforts to limit the impact of digital ad campaigns on the environment.

IMPACT+ is delivering the new standard in sustainability, providing actionable recommendations on how to reduce the carbon footprint of advertising campaigns.

Working with global brands including L’Oréal, Heineken, Nestlé and BMW, the company also partners with major agencies and ad networks to measure and reduce the environmental impact of campaigns on their platforms.

IMPACT+, Azerion tackle CO2 in ads

By partnering with IMPACT+, Azerion, the digital entertainment and media platform, will take a leading role in the mission to reduce greenhouse gas emitted from the media supply chain.

Brand and agency clients of Azerion will be empowered with a better understanding of the environmental footprint of projects run via its technology stack.

This will include insight into the electricity consumption and Greenhouse Gas emissions of their campaigns, as well as the actions they can take to reduce them.

With this intelligence, advertisers will be able to combine environmental and marketing goals more effectively, improving campaign sustainability without negatively affecting media KPIs.

While the advertising industry is aware of the environmental impact, few solutions today combine precise measurement across various digital channels (including social media, programmatic and direct buying) with actionable recommendations about the ideal mix of vendors, channels or formats to meet both business and environmental goals.

This is precisely what differentiates IMPACT+’s solution.

Since its launch in France in 2020, IMPACT+ has seen impressive growth and is now available in more than 40 markets.

With the appointment of Sahra Monfort as Head of Brand & Agency Partnerships in the UK – a vital international hub providing access to a multitude of global brands – the company continues to considerably expand its reach and secure its position as the leading European sustaintech solution for the digital advertising industry.

Having worked over 10 years in the Adtech industry, Sahra Monfort will act as a trusted expert and reference person when it comes to reducing the environmental impact of digital advertising in the UK.

She joins IMPACT+ at a key moment where all players are actively looking for solutions to reduce their campaigns’ environmental impact without compromising on performance and exposure.

Discussing the company’s international development and its partnership with Azerion, Vincent Villaret, CEO, IMPACT+, said: “We are incredibly proud of our success to date and this partnership with one of the industry’s biggest ad network players marks an important step in our journey.

“As the urgency to tackle the climate crisis intensifies, the ad industry must address the considerable role it has to play in it.

“We’re also very pleased to be expanding into the UK with Sahra, who will be an extremely valuable asset to help our clients make a lasting impact.”

Megan Cross, International Account Director and Head of Sustainability at Azerion UK, said: “Building on our many relationships with leading advertisers to drive a positive impact is something we’re excited to be able to do”.

“Understanding how to make digital advertising more sustainable is a huge challenge for all of us in the industry.

“So partnerships like this are crucial for us to further develop our decarbonisation strategy and reduce emissions from the supply chain.

“With our objective to measure, reduce, remove and report,  IMPACT+ is helping us to empower our clients and partners to measure their emissions and actively reduce them through concrete actions that won’t affect performance.”

Monfort added: “The UK market is a leading driver of change in the ad industry and opens access to a wide variety of global brands for us.

“As we continue to progress our mission to not only educate industry players on their environmental impact, but also recommend changes to address emissions from their digital campaigns, the partnership with Azerion represents a new era for us.

“We’re excited to be driving positive environmental impact and strengthening our work with the best known players in the ad industry.”
