Cheil Spain’s ‘Unfear’ for Samsung has won five awards; three golds, one silver and a bronze.

The advanced AI app – developed in partnership with Spain’s x10 leading ASD organisations, specialist doctors and over x100 ASD sufferers and their families – autonomously suppresses fear-triggering noises in real-time without cancelling other sounds.

Cheil PengTai Beijing x Hong Kong’s ‘Quest for Dyslexia’ for Samsung was another big winner, also picking up five trophies, with two Golds and three Silver awards.

‘Quest for Dyslexia’ hacks China’s most popular game for kids  creating alternate quests using visually similar Hanzi characters to detect dyslexia and notify parents when a pattern of anomalies occurs.

The 2023 Clio Health Grand Clio winners will be announced 14 June.

Cheil Worldwide’s 2023 success builds on winning seven trophies at the Clio Health Awards last year, including the prestigious Grand Clio for ‘The Cost of Bullying’. ‘The Cost of Bullying’, which won the top prize in Experience/Activation, also won two Golds, one Silver, and two Bronzes. ‘The Battle Inside’ also won Bronze.

Malcolm Poynton, Global Chief Creative Officer at Cheil Worldwide, said: “Creativity has gone from strength-to-strength in the Health category since Clio Health was launched. Advanced AI, Gaming and mobile innovation have catapulted this year’s winners into a whole new world of what’s possible.

“The winners are truly global and within this mix, the UK feels a little under-represented. Odd given the UK has such a vibrant health sector stretching from Childrens’ Hospitals, Health Clubs and Big Pharma to the new wave of natural wellness offerings.

“From a global perspective, we’re excited to see the Clio Health jury celebrate our Cheil Pengtai Beijing x Hong Kong and Cheil Spain work that breathes life into Samsung’s long-standing commitment to technology that opens up possibilities for as many people as possible in the world today.”
