Bluestripe Group appoints Sarah Ramamurthy as Senior PR Account Director

B2B comms, content and media player Bluestripe Group has kicked off the New Year by appointing Sarah Ramamurthy as Senior PR Account Director.

The appointment comes as the group develops its client portfolio in the ecommerce and retail tech sectors.

Ramamurthy joins Bluestripe from Omnicom Media Group where she was responsible for launching the agency’s global ecommerce offering – OMG Transact and brings with her extensive media agency and adtech experience. 

She has previously worked as a freelancer with Bluestripe and prior to that she developed her skills at B2B PR agencies Simpatico and MWWPR.

Bluestripe growth

Established in 2017, Bluestripe Group is a diversified media business offering B2B communications, content and media products for the media, advertising and technology industries. 

Its aim is to disrupt the traditional communications model, bringing together the previously separate businesses of content, communications and media under one umbrella, leveraging the synergies inherent between those operations.

Bluestripe was founded by three media and communications industry veterans with a diverse portfolio of experience: Andy Oakes was previously Managing Director & Head of Content of The Drum and Publisher of New Media Age; Justin Pearse, was editor of New Media Age, founder and MD of The Drum’s branded content arm Drum Studios and MD of Digiday’s content studio Custom; and Lydia Oakes, formerly Head of Marketing at iProspect UK with over twenty years in B2B PR.
