Bâtard Donneur: Blood donation ad launched by new French dog mag


Socially-led creative agency, We Are Social France, has launched the Batard Donneur campaign for Bâtard, a new French quarterly magazine dedicated to the world of dogs.

The campaign, which centres around a new Instagram hashtag, is designed to increase awareness and drive dog blood donation.

The #BatardDonneur campaign works by turning Instagram hashtags into a valuable referencing tool for local vets.

When users upload pictures of their dogs using “#BatardDonneur” followed by their postcode, they will be placed on the volunteer database for blood donation.

Veterinarians can then search the hashtag for donors in their area and contact them via direct message to schedule a clinic appointment.

The #BatardDonneur campaign is supported by a number of French pet influencers on Instagram, such as lavie_de_sora, oxa_sake_staffies and okatsuki, who have helped drive awareness for the campaign.
