Atomic has been appointed sole brand creative agency for the online used car brand heycar.
The London-based agency won the contract after a competitive, six-way pitch process.
The London creative agency will immediately begin work on a new multi-channel brand campaign to build further fame and awareness for heycar; which launched in August last year with the aim of bringing greater trust and transparency to the used car industry.
Heycar is backed by major German automaker Volkswagen.
In 2019, the brand hit the ground running with a mass-market campaign across TV, OOH, radio, social and PR. It has scaled quickly with more than 3,500 dealerships now on board and exponential growth in site visits.
“We want to help build the heycar brand to be the obvious choice in this growing sector, through bold and exciting work, and we can’t wait to get started”, Jon Goulding, CEO of Atomic, said.
Tracy Woods, Marketing Director at heycar, said “Buying a used car too often comes with worry and anxiety.
Raising the bar
“We’re building a proposition that addresses customer needs and raises the bar in the used car space.
“Our work with Atomic will seek to put us firmly on the map with the car buying public as the go-to place to buy a quality used car, with an experience that lets them simply enjoy the ride.
“We have very aggressive growth plans for 2020, and our work with Atomic will be a major catalyst to driving our long and short term metrics in brand and customer growth.
“Atomic is a great fit for us as a business, very much sharing our entrepreneurial spirit.
“They will join our outstanding agency roster; working closely with our other partners as part of the collaborative ways of working we have established.”
It’s the second win of the year for Atomic. In January it was appointed as creative agency for EMR; the new operator of the East Midland Railway franchise owned by Abellio.
