72andSunny has hired JT Pierce to take on the new role of Managing Director in New York, in a further boost to its senior leadership team in North America.
Pierce joins from on demand delivery platform DoorDash where he co-led their Creative Studio.
In this new role, he will lead and drive the performance and growth of 72andSunny NYC, from the people and their output, to the impact the work makes for clients.
He reports to Marianne Malina, 72andSunny North America President, and partners closely with Elaine Cox, ECD 72andSunny NYC, Tom Naughton, ESD 72andSunny NYC and Julia Lafferty, Director of Production 72andSunny NYC.
JT Pierce as Managing Director
Pierce is a highly experienced industry leader and has held both agency and client side positions.
Prior to joining DoorDash, Pierce was Managing Director at Argonaut working with brands including FitBit, Ubisoft, AT&T and NerdWallet. He has also worked at Deloitte Digital/Heat and Sony PlayStation.
This latest hire is part of a wider investment by 72andSunny in its leadership team, and follows the appointment of Marianne Malina as its first-ever North American President earlier this year.
At the same time, Laura Likos was elevated as the Managing Director of the Los Angeles office.
Malina said: “JT is a hugely talented and highly experienced leader with an innovative approach to brand building. He will be a key driving force as we partner with our clients to problem solve and shape the future.”
Pierce said: “More than ever brands need to tap into the power of creativity and 72andSunny is one of the most inspiring creative companies around today.”
“I’m looking forward to being part of the leadership team helping to further advance the agency and our clients.”
